Volkswagen Lovers - This Ones For You!

I made these shoes a little different than normal.

Instead of lining them with fleece, I used flannel. 

I also used some of the VW fabric for the inside

sole of the shoes... and some little grippy canvas 

for the bottom.  Perfect for a wee little VW lover!

I also tried my hand at a different style burp cloth.

Flannel on both sides in a shape to fit over your shoulder.

The flannel helps it stay in place nicely!

Baby Gift!

My husband informed me last week that a woman in his office department is 

due to have a baby any day.  Aaaannnd... they already had an office Baby Shower!  

He forgot to tell me.

So, after finding out that her theme is monkeys, 

I got some fabric and got to work!

I packaged it all up in a nice little basket, shrink wrapped it and made

a handmade bow for the top.  Aaaaaannd... my husband was super embarrassed

to have to take it into work!  Haha!

Well, I guess that's what he gets for not informing me sooner!  LOL!

I hope she likes it!
